Hi. We are leaving in ohhhhhh, 19 days:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
I am conserned about the few rides that my DD4 (will turn 5 on this trip) isn't tall enough to ride. She is about 42 inches tall. Has anyone tried the switching off thing that is decribed in the Unofficial Guide to WDW with Kids book? My DH, DD7 and DD4 and I will all be riding together. Is it better to split up and one adult take the smaller child to something different while DD7 & other adult ride the hight requirement rides? Switching off means that DD7 can ride twice in a row doesn't it? A little confused:crazy:
Thanks for your help:wave2:

We usually split up and let my DH take my younger daughter on a ride she would like. We had walkie talkies or now cell phones would be good. We have also done baby swap but felt bad she had not gone on a ride herself so we decided to go on different rides. It kept everyone happy and just took a little longer.

With child swap they will let 1 or 2 people from the first group ride a second time!! It works great. On some rides like Splash Mtn they actually give you fast passes for the swap ride.

If the line's not long do a swap. If it's long get a fast pass and come back. Personally, I wouldn't usually break up.

Also, we get fast passes for all of us, even if some aren't going to do the ride. That allows extra fast passes if someone wants to ride twice.
