Hi Everyone!

Planning my Fall trip to WDW and have a question. I remember long ago that if your trip fell over a time when the WDW seasons changed, you would get the rate of the first day for the entire trip.

So this year, the seasons change from Value to Regular on Sept 30. So if I want the Value rate, I check in Sept 29 and get it the entire stay.

Is this still in effect? TIA!

Nevermind, saw the answer several pages down!! :earsboy:

I tried that last year and got burned. Oct 1 was the last day of value season and Oct 2 started regular season. I thought I was smart by planning for Oct 1. I bought airline tickets and patiently waited for AP or Code rates to come out for Oct 1. They never did (none Aug 24 to Oct 1)! I booked CBR as a backup with a AAA rate, I really wanted Boardwalk. While I was waiting for the rates to come out, Boardwalk sold out for Oct 1 along with all the other Epcot resorts because of a convention. So we stayed at CBR. It was nice but it made me mad that the fooled around with releasing discounts (they did release them for about 1 hour at the beginning of August and then pulled them). Then they have good AP rates for Christmas 2003 & Easter 2004! But none for September, one of the slowest times of the year. :(
