I am considering switching from one Disney Property to another. I am looking into getting two room instead of the one I originally booked.... now if I do this would my fastpass reservations be messed up? Or any other concerns I should think about?

TIA

Your fast passes will be fine as long as you change your existing reservation (don’t make a new one).

Or- what I just did- book the new reservation, and then cancel the other one after it’s in your MDE. I was staying at Coronado Springs for two nights, then Shades of Green for the rest of my stay, as neither had availability for the entire time, and just today changed it to PO-FQ. I booked for the new hotel, then cancelled the SOG (had to call) and the CS (online). Nothing changed in my DME, except they offered again the magic bands.

This is often referred to as a split stay. Nothing will be messed up by doing this, AFAIK. we do it all the time. Just be sure to book the new resort stay before cancelling the days at the first resort that you will not be using.
I recently changed from a 10 night stay at CSR GDT to a 4 night at CSR, 3 nights in the GF SL and then 3 nights in the AKL. No issues, except we had to book pool view at AKL when we really want Savanna CL. (nothing else available at the time - I am still checking, though)

One thing to be aware of, is that you have to check out at 11:00 am and rooms are not necessarily ready at the next resort until 3:00 pm or later. That leaves you 'homeless' for a few hours on moving day. So, be sure to keep anything g that you will need that day with you.

I love split stays! Enjoy!

We just came home from a split stay renting points at Old Key West and Beach Club Villas. We also have a split stay coming up at the end of February for a Mardi Gras trip to both PO-FQ and PO-Riverside. We got AP discounts during different days in case anyone wants to know why the switch. FP day is in two days. No problems at all doing FPs.
