Switching hotels w/ a crib (ABBF)?

We are going to Disney and staying the the WLV. Our friends are staying at Coronado the 1st couple of days free due to his convention. They wanted to move to our hotel later (we're renting them pts) so we can be close together but they're concerned about the crib.

Has anyone done this. I guess they would have to tear down and box it and then set it up again.

Hi - We rented a crib from ABBF last November. We started off at ASMovies, then switched to CBR. ABBF came and took down the crib and dropped it off at CBR for us. We ended up setting it up at CBR, but they would have done it for us.
The customer service at ABBF is excellent!

I know they changed their policy sometime before we went last January (after you did) where they no long do set up I thought. I guess I should e-mail them and inquire.

I was just wondering if you got an answer from ABBF about transfering the crib. We are using them in November, and I emailed them with a few questions on Monday, but I haven't heard back.

I have not emailed them yet. I know they changed their policy after your trip and they no longer do the set up. That is now your responsibility (which was very easy by the way). They did this because too many cribs were damaged by people moving rooms (not happy at check in and moved w/i the hotel) and bell service trying to drag the cribs around the hotel. So you don't set it up until you are happy w/ your location.

I'm assuming since they don't do set-up our friends would pack the crib and have bell service transfer it to their new hotel w/ their luggage but I have not confirmed yet.
