switching from POP to Swan

I am seriously considering switching from POP to Swan for our trip from Dec 26 to Jan2nd.
We have always stayed at the All Stars and have enjoyed them. However I am thinking the transportation will be much better from the Swan and it looks beautiful there for Christmas. I am wondering if it will be worth the extra money for the convenience and what the restaurants are like. Is there a food court there similar to the All Stars or POP?

We've stayed at the Dolphin over Christmas - it's gorgeous & there's Tubbie's beffeteria for quick food. It's not a food court like at the WDW resorts, but it's self serve/go down the line with hot choices, too. At the end there are snack foods to purchase & a beverage station. You can now buy refillable mugs at the Swan/Dolphin resorts as well. Tubbie's is located in the Dolphin, but it's just a short walk through the breezeway from the Swan. The location can't be beat for these resorts, and the BW is just over the bridge for some fun nighttime entertainment. Hope this helps.

We stayed, for the first time, at the Swan over Spring Break 2004. We loved it!!! The location can't be beat. You will be there the week we will be. I like the idea of being at Epcot for NYE and then being able to walk back to the resort. I'd hate to think what the lines at the bus stops would be like!

Location, Location, Location! Since you will be going the busiest week of the entire year, you will find the convenience of the location worth a little extra money. You don't even need a rental car, and during peak times bus service to MK is great! Do they still have discount rates available that week? If you can get one, grab it! You won't be sorry. We have stayed at both Swan and Dolphin. Tubbi's is great (can you say Starbuck's coffee?) and not a bad walk from either hotel, even though it's in the Dolphin. You can also walk to the Boardwalk for pizza, hot dog or the convenience store there. It's only a little farther to walk to Epcot's World Showcase, where there's lot of counter service food to pick from--yum!
