Switched Vacation Plans!

For the past 10 years, we have always visited WDW the last week of May through the first week of June. Our last trip was taken in August, 2008 and we had a great time. So, we booked our 2009 trip for August too.

But then.....the buy 4/get 3 free promo came out and we're going back in May! We'll be at Pop Century May 21st through 30th! First time we stayed at Pop or any value for that matter.

Now, I've got to get busy working on our ADR plans! I'm so excited I just knocked off two months from my countdown ticker!

Before my son started school and our daughter was in private school, we got to go earlier in May because their school let out earlier. If I am remembering correctly, the crowds weren't that bad during that time period. I am so excited!

We were originally going to BCV in January but then when the 4/3 deal came out and I wanted to switch to GF RPC soooooo in order to get availability without it being peak season we had to move our trip to the end of April But we are staying one extra day and in a deluxe room so it makes it easier to wait 3 more months

My DH is still scratching his head as to how a promo came out and we are going to be spending more money on our trip

We are going in August and when the promo came out I also priced it. It came out more expensive for me too. It has to do with the seasons. For me, the difference was over $1500. We like to stay 2 weeks and the we need 2 rooms so it came to over $100 extra per night. We will wait for August.

I gave my hubby the old "razzle dazzle" about switching resorts now that they 4/3 promo was out so he thought it would be saving us $$$ but little did he know that I would go all out.... Poor man never saw it coming

Found out last night that our daughter will be coming home from missionary college during the same time that we were supposed to be in Walt Disney World. She only gets to come home three times a year because the missionary program is so intense.

So, I changed our plans AGAIN! Now, we are going to WDW May 28th through June 6th!
