Swimshirt w/uv protection for DH

Anyone know where I can get one? A few weeks back there was a thread about this and someone suggested solartex.com, well I ordered one for DH but he doesn't like it because it is semi-fitted (kinda like surf wear). So we are looking for a LOOSE swimshirt with the UV protection built in can anyone help us find one. Thanks

Try a search on google for uv protection clothing. I came up with a lot of places - you'll have to figure out which one works for you. Maybe he can just wear a regular (uv protection) t-shirt instead of a swimwear specific one? A lot of people wear t-shirts at the pools and beaches.

I think you're going to find the ones specifically made for swimming are going to be fitted because they are less likely to "float" off the body (for lack of a better way of discribing it) than a loose fitting shirt. Maybe just buy one the next size up? I've seen the clothes on www.coolibar.com recommended here before. Their site says "Our men's swim shirts and swimwear fabrics are also exposed to chlorinated water before retesting." so not sure how much chorinated water would affect a UV shirt that isn't designed for swimming.

You probably saw my thread awhile ago. All uv swimwear will be tight. I read that if you don't want it tight (like for surfing) then to go one or two sizes up. I hope that helps.

Yep I think it was your thread Geez I got him an xxl instead of xl for that reason I can't imagine going 3x I think I'm done he can find his own stuff, what a pain in the butt. I think the shirt is fine it's not real tight and looks fine on him...but that makes sense not being lose fitted with floating off the body. I'm just not going to keep ordering all these and paying to send them back all the time if they make them tight anyway. Men who says they're not as bad as women????
