We are leaving in two days for our first Disney trip. My daughter is set on swimming. It looks like highs for our trip will be in the low to mid 70's. How heated are the pools. Will we be comfortable swimming, or should I prepare her that we might not be in the pools.

Thanks.

unless the weather turns really bad, you WILL be able to swim.
It is 83 today. Many of the pools are heated.
Plan on swimming. If you are going to a water park, Typhoon Lagoon, enjoy.

Friday should be a bit cool as this forecast suggests:
http://www.local6.com/weather/ Suggest checking with the motel/hotel where you are staying to ask if their pool is heated.

All the pools at the Disney resorts are heated. The offical word is the temp is 82 degrees.

We were there last Jan. and very few folks were swimming. One day my two were the only swimmers in Storm along Bay. The weather was record lows though! But you know how kids are .. hard to keep them out of a pool!

Hope your weather is sunnier.:sunny:

The water itself will be warm enough but the air temp might be a different issue. When we were there in December it rain nearly every day but regardless there were kids swimming, we were at ASMo during that time and it was during the Pop Warner championships.
