Two of my three boys are competitive swimmers and the oldest will need to swim daily (not necessarily a proper training session but at least to get in and swim) We are staying at OKW and want to know if any of the pools there would be suitable for lap swimming.

I wouldn't have thought they will be big enough - they are only about 10m long maximum.

The main pool is larger but as it is only open when lifeguards are present will be too busy to do proper swimming.

The YMCA on International Drive has a 50m pool if he needs some seriously mileage.

Thank you Kath

Even though we are on holiday DS is still required to get his minimum training hours in - hoping to do some early morning swims there before the parks open so having a nearby 50mtr pool would really help. Might have to use our trips to BB and TL to help with the hours ;)

If we were gone for only a week it wouldn't be too bad but we will be away for 2 1/2 weeks. With a major competition shortly after our return.

I think the YMCA opens at like 5am! It's a proper competition pool, so I'd check that they're not hosting any events.
