Just wondering...is it too cold to swim outside in November?? We used to live in Colorado and would probably not have thought it was too cold but we are now coming from close to 100 degree weather!
Thanks!!

As Long as the pool is heated my kids have gone swimming every December/January they also love the hot tub! they even went when they were having the major storms a few years back. we live in the San Fran bay and so we are not used very cold weather either.

For me, it would be waaayyy to cold to swim in November, but we live in AZ so anything under 70 is pretty cold to me. :rolleyes1

Lived in SoCal for many years and now in Colorado and IMO it is too cold to swim in November. Hit tubs? Sure. Swimming? Not for us.

Thanks for the responses!
Hydroguy...thanks for all of your great info on these boards...I think I've read almost all of it. I noticed you're in Manitou. We lived in Colorado Springs for 5 years and moved away about a year and a half ago...sure miss it. Enjoy the weather for me...it is nearly 100 degrees here in Mexico! I think I'll not worry about the pool...we can do that anyday!

I would bet my kids will be swimming even though they say highs of high 60s in November. Already made sure hotels have hot tubs and heated pools....... But we're from Canada ;)

When we were at DLR last Dec. my kids were in the pool. Weather was mid to high 60's and they still spent at least 1/2 hour in the pool every day. :confused3

We were at HoJo and they say the pool is heated - but the water felt colder than the outside temp - so that is definitely not heated enough for me!

We'll be there in about 10 days and I am packing swim suits since I am sure my kidlets will want to swim.

Thanks! Today it is snowing heavily!

I remember last Dec there was this family that went swimming twice we saw them. then a few days later we saw 2 of the kids in the hall who had running noses and coughing...while it looks fun.... not recommended in my opinion.
