Swimming in January???

Hello! We are leaving for DLR next week. I have been assuming that it will be too cold to make use of the Disneyland Hotel pool and had not planned on packing our swimsuits. It occurred to me tonight that I should double-check with the experts though!

So would you plan to swim if you were visiting DLR in January??

I've been to DLR in January before and it's been sunny and warm and I HAVE swam, and I've also been when it's been too cold and I haven't.
But bathing suits are small and as a rule I ALWAYS make sure to pack them on any trip I go on because you just never know!

This. I'd probably plan to not swim, but packing a suit takes no space at all, so might as well! Winter weather here can be weird A couple weeks ago it was freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing, then a few days ago it was in the 70's!

We were there Dec 30 - Jan 6. The weather was amazing. High 70's / low 80's during the day. We made use of both the pools and hot tub.

It was so warm that we didn't even wear jeans/pants in the evenings. We were wearing shorts and light jackets at night.

I say bring those suits! They don't take up much space and the pools are heated!

We have been in January prior to this trip, and have always experienced at least one day that is warm enough to take a dip. We're bringing the suits with us this time as well; fingers crossed that the weather will be nice and warm!

They have hot tubs too right?? I am going beginning of march, am HOPING it will be warm enough to swim!

I always pack one for any stay, anywhere but especially if I know there is a hot tub - even just for a little bit. Sometimes the kids are braver than me and I have no problem watching them by the pool!

As many have said, it can easily be warm enough at times to swim. We were just there Dec 19 to Dec 28, and had serval dips in the DLH pools, plus the hot tub.

For us, packing the swim suits for even "just in case" ended up being "glad we did" even for just having a dip in the hot tubs a night.
