Swimming in December

For those of you who have been to WDW in early December.. I'm talking about the first week, is it warm enough to swim? I know most of the resorts have heated pools, but is it really warm enough?

My brothers family swam this year in January (usally cooler than Dec.)
They said it was not warm enough to "hang out" by the pool. But warm enough if you stayed in the water.
