Is the weather warm enough in the middle to end of April for swimming at the resorts? How about the temps during the day vs. evening? Our plans changed from September 2008 (when I know it's hot) to April 2008 due to a free airline ticket :cheer2: and now I don't know what to expect.

Thank you for your help!!

Yes, just fine for swimming. We were there the first week of April and had lots of fun at the pool!

Have fun.

Oh yes, it will be nice. Although weather can vary. We go at the end of March all the time, we have had the temp go to 90 or more. Usually in the upper 70's to 80. Always cool for us at night. I think you are going at a perfect time.

The average high in mid to late April is approx. 85 degrees and the average low is approx. 61 degrees. It will be plenty warm enough to go swimming.

I have been to WDW in April 5 times. It has always been very hot. It was also fine for swimming in the evening. I would expect temps in high 70's and 80's...if I remember correctly. Last April trip was 2005.

We have gone twice in April, plenty HOT in the afternoon, a little to chilly in the evening,,, PERFECT weather!!!! have a great time!

It really depends on what you are use to..I am from Florida and the water is too cool for me to swim in April..I like the water to be normal temp and even heated, it is too cool for me

We were there the last week of April this year.Temps during the day were fine, but the evenings got a little chilly. (Thanks God for the heated pools, LOL). But yeah, should be plenty warm enough!

I've been in April the this year and last year. Last year it was warm enough for swimming even at night. This year, we were all buying jackets and freezing. I am from the South though and while I didn't think it was anywhere near warm enough to even consider swimming, the pools were pretty crowded during the day. The highs were only in the mid 50's to low 60's range this year. That's too cold for me.

I swam in March this year, and have been in Florida in February and it's been fine. It does make a difference where you live -- I'm from Ohio, so there's nothing like swimming outside in Florida when it's snowy cold at home!!

I just went last April 12-20 and it was plenty warm. One day was overcast and 70 and the rest 85 and sunny. We swam every night when we got back from 9-10pm until midnight every night! I can't wait till my next trip in you guessed it April!!:cool1: :sad2:
