Ok so it looks like flight wise our cheapest time to go is 29th October if we want to be there same time as our friends,
Since the latest we have ever been is middle of October ( except last trip when we flew back in the 29th oct and the last few days were cold because of the tail end hurricane ) we are all hoping that the weather is still great in November!

My wife has been in march and had quite hot weather back in 2003 but many say its cold, so we was hoping to hear from anyone that has been from the UK
I searched for related threads but most are US forum and so there cold lol my boy be our cold!

The boys love swimming and so we would like to get a few swim days in and maybe water parks days too!

Any info would be fab :)

We have been middle two weeks in November before and unlike the summer months you can't be sure of the hot weather.

Most mornings and evenings required sweatshirts and sometimes jeans.

We only swam a couple of times and always mid afternoon. I don't find the pools warm enough when it is cooler out and as DD feels the cold we just don't let her swim (plus I don't like getting cold either!)

It was really sunny and not humid which was great for doing the parks.

We've been in Nov a couple of times. The last time 2011 3-21 the weather was beautiful, really sunny all the time and warm. It only rained for a couple of hours one day. It was definitely warm enough to swim every day! :thumbsup2

november 2012 was a bit cold, but manageable.

The end of october was off the chart because of Sandy. It was so cold that CMs wore gloves and hats ... no kidding ... late october, we were swimming in the bowling pin pool at POP with lifeguards wearing gloves ... that was weird :) but remember that pools are heated.

first week of november was rather ok. We switched to CBR on november 4th. We went to the pool everyday until our check out on the 7th. Once in the large pool, and the rest of the time in the quiet pool.
It was very nice. If your resort has a quiet pool, those pools are often warmer than the large pool, because of its size. But as soon as the sun goes down, the temperature falls very rapidly.

We didn't dare to do waterparks in november. But also remember that, at that time, only Blizzard Beach will be opened. TL goes into refurb starting last week of october each year

The main factor will be weather conditions. November might be fab, with 80 degrees days, but it can also be polar with highs around 50. It's very unpredictable

We're going mid Oct until early Nov and are hoping to be able to do the water parks and swimming. Hoping for warm sunshine!

Yep that's when we was there for October with sandy, we was at universal and had to all go and buy hoodies as it was really cold and very windy! It made for a miserable last few days!!

apart from last year we nearly always go in November, normally the 1st 3 weeks and have always found it great to swim first thing in the morning and often at night as well. The quiet pools at POR are normally heated though so its bliss, although sometimes a little chilly when you get out:) I'd think you'd be fine in the middle of the day as it always heats up very nicely. :) We have always had great weather in November and rarely required a jacket at night.

Its one of the main things we look forward to, our early morning and late night swims.:goodvibes
