Has anyone had this? I was just told about it from a CM, but she did not have all the details. The cost did not make sense from what she said we get, only two glasses as keepsakes.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks a lot!!!!

I can't say for sure, but the CM was probably talking about the new Sweetheart Dinner for Two that is one of the celebration choices for the What Will You Celebrate campaign. Disney's website describes it as follows:

Sweetheart Dinner for Two:

"For those in love and romantics at heart, our Sweetheart Dinners are the ideal way to put the thrill and happy sentiment into any special occasion. Our Sweetheart Dinners are meticulously prepared three-course prix fixe meals for two. What's more, a specially selected beverage in a souvenir toasting glass commemorates the moment. Available at all signature restaurants except Victoria & Albert's."

There is no additional link with further info, just that you need to call 1-407-WDW-Dine. Hope this helps.

I booked for my parents in July. Here is all the info.

Here is everything the Sweetheart Dinner includes:

Dinner is a prix fixe meal of existing menu items and includes the following:
1 Appetizer per Guest
(3 appetizer choices)
1 Entrée per Guest
(4 entrée choices)
1 Dessert for Two (shared)
1 Glass of Magicale, Celebration Cuvee, or Sparkling Cider per Guest
1 Takeaway commemorative etched champagne flute and menu per Guest

“Sweetheart Dinner for Two” available at:
Artist Point $150.00 + tax & gratuity (price for both guests)
California Grill $170.00 + tax & gratuity
Citricos $150.00 + tax & gratuity (price for both guests)
Flying Fish Café $150.00 + tax & gratuity (price for both guests)
Jiko - The Cooking Place $150.00 + tax & gratuity (price for both guests)
Narcoossee's $150.00 + tax & gratuity (price for both guests)
The Hollywood Brown Derby $150.00 + tax & gratuity (price for both guests)
Yachtsman Steakhouse $150.00 + tax & gratuity (price for both guests)

Reservations for this meal are required.

Anyone know what the gift glasses look like? I'm wondering what is etched on them.

So you don't know what the menu choices are before you go? I'd hate to have to choose between 4 entrees I don't really care for if there is something else on the menu I'd rather have.

Ok, then my calculations were correct and at least for Artist Point it is not worth it. I am sure that the glasses would not be high quality, so you are paying more for less. Taking all of the highest priced items at the restaurant the total bill would be around $126 plus tax and tip. Using TIW (DDE) and subtracting 20% is a much better deal.

Thanks a lot for clearing this up. I am finding more and more of this type of "special" at Disney this days. The deals are only deals for them.
