Feel in love with sweet white wine with the Trentino Moscato that we were served at Palo on our Disney Cruise several years ago. It is imported from a small winery in Italy.

I do not know if it is still served at Palo, and if it is available, it is hard to find. We found this at a restaurant when visiting Asheville NC, and negotiated buying a couple of bottles to bring home.

For those who like sweet wines, like me!, I would also suggest looking for sweet whites. We buy one at a local winery here that has a peach infusion, and it is always good!

I am one of those who tastes to much of the tannins in the red wines... So I am a white wine girl!

My favorite sweet red is from the Bavarian Inn in Frankemuth, MI. The red currant sweet wine. If you go to their web site you'll see they also have it in cranberry. They have ice wine and reisling, too, but I've never tried those. I'll have to rectify that next trip out there!

One of my favorites is a red called Concord from Stone Hill Winery in Branson. It tastes exactly what I've always thought red wine should taste like...grape juice with a kick! Seriously though, it's really good!

My other favorite is Rosa Regale by Banfi. Had it at the Germany pavilion in Epcot and fell in love.

I see you are from NC. Have you tried any of the Duplin Winery wines? I don't normally like wine but their wines are great. I think favorites are Carolina Red or Hatteras Red. As far as the Moscato, there is a favorite in our area but I will have to remember the name.

Coppo Moncalvina Moscato d'Asti

It is a slightly sweet, sparkling white. Soooooo delicious!

I'll have to try this one. I already have two favorites, why not another.

Cupcake Mascato d'Asti and Bug Juice Mascato d'Asti are both really good. Sweet, but not overly sweet.

we live near a winery in north carolina, it's rock of ages. they have a cork and pork festival every year and pair bbq sandwiches with a red wine that is amazing!!
i've just discovered flip flop wines and they have a great moscato and it's cheap too!

I second Rose Regale! It is lovely and gies really well with chocolate. I originally had it at a wine event in the dessert room, paired with a chocolate dipping fountain. Heaven!

Moscato is a great sweet white wine.
