Sweet Tomatoes, Fazoli's, Cici's?

Hi, we're going to WDW in less than two weeks. We'd like to try a few off-site restaurants (we are staying off-site also in Lake Buena Vista). Have any of you been to Sweet Tomatoes, and is the Kirkman Drive location near the Character Warehouse? (We might stop there for lunch after a souvenir-shopping trip). Also, what about Fazoli's or Cici's Pizza? What are the prices like, and what else can you tell me about these restaurants? TIA!

While I haven't eaten at any of these restaurants in the WDW area, they do have locations by me. Sweet Tomatos is a buffet salad bar restaurant with lots of options. Besides the standard salad items, there are multiple macaroni, potato salads and cole slaws, plus soups and desserts. I've eaten at ST a few times and was always satisfied. Fazolis is fast food Italian, so take that for what's it's worth. I have never eaten at CiCi's but I know people who have and the reviews are all over the map.

Never eaten at Fazoli's or Cici's in Orlando, but here at home they are wonderful. Fazoli's has really good quality Italian fast food (spaghetti, ravioli, baked pastas, paninis, etc.). Fazoli's also has great unlimited breadsticks. Cici's is an all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta, salad, and dessert buffet. It costs $3.99 per person and is very close to Pizza Hut in my opinion. However, you do get dessert pizza and salad as well. Both are good in this neck of the woods. Good luck!

Take I-4 (East) to Exit 75A, follow the signs to International Drive. Turn left at I-Drive. Go past Kirkman (if you turn onto Kirkman you cannot get into the shopping center), make the first left, and then left into the shopping center.

To get to the Character Warehouse and Character Premiere in the Prime Outlets (formerly Belz) Mall you would exit the shopping center the same you you came in but make a left onto I-Drive and go all the way until it ends, the a left into the Mall and the Character Warehouse is in the building right in front of you.

I love Sweet Tomatoes, and the one at Kirman is nice - and the CiCi's in the Lake Buena Vista area is well-run, always clean when I've been.

Cici's is $3.99 for adults, all you can eat (the drink is extra). I love CiCi's! Sweet Tomatoes is pricier, just go for lunch instead of dinner.

We love Sweet Tomatoes, we've always lived near one and we frequent them often. Sweet Tomatoes runs us about $20 for two adults, two drinks, before tip.

Cici's... it's lots of greasy, cheap food. That's pretty much all I can say about it.

Fazoli's is standard fast food chain food, but the breadsticks are pretty good for fast food.

We eat at Sweet Tomatoes about once a week and love it. I think it runs $8.49 for dinner per adult, lunch is a bit cheaper. Children are 0.50 per year I think up to 6 or 7 I think. Where I live they have coupons in Sundays paper almost every Sunday. I'd be happy to send you some if you want. I esp love their strawberry lemonade. They have really healthy options for adults and little people. Our son (5) loves making his own salad there. We also do lunch once in awhile at Cici's. My son also really loves Cici's. They have a salad bar and pizza buffet with a couple dessert pizzas and brownies. They also have a small game room, three or four video games. Either of these places you can get in and off of pretty quickly without spending a fortune. We are not fans of Fazolis so I can't tell you much about them. Enjoy!-Rebecca

Can't speak for the ones in Orlando but have eaten at all 3 locally.

Love sweet tomatoes. The menu does rotate on the soups and speciality salads. Their website has the rotation. I really love their NE clam chowder and their couscous salad

Fazoli's and Cic's can vary greatly from location to location. There is a Fazoli's in kentucky that we stop at in route to michigan and need a quick lunch. However the 2 near us closed within a few months of opening because the food was horrible.

Cics's is hit or miss. Pretty decent for the $$ you pay but IMHO there are better pizza buffet chains in our area (stevie B's or Papas). ( don't know if either have location in the Orlando area.

The one place I do love in the Orlando that we don't have here is Bob Evans. I always get the chicken-salad salad.

If you want a very good family-friendly restaurant in the Lake Buena Vista area, skip these three and try the Bahama Breeze at 8735 Vineland Road. It's only a mile or so from Downtown Disney, not far from the Premier Outlet Mall, which is at 8200 Vineland Road.

Yup, there is a Cici's just 3 minutes from downtown disney. Its a nice cheap eat, but as always, the quality of food matches the price.

Hi everyone. OP here. Thanks for all your replies to my question. I have a note written down here that the Cici's near DTD is located on Palm Parkway, Lake Buena Vista.

We've eaten at the Sweet Tomatoes on Kirkman and it was just like our Sweet Tomatoes at home. Great place for a large family with a variety of tastes. We did use coupons from our newspaper while we were there.
A restaurant that we liked that wasn't too far from Sweet Tomatoes is Whistle Junction. It's a train themed buffet restaurant. When we were there, they were serving cooked to order steaks and much more. I know it just a little more than Sweet Tomatoes but worth it!
