Anyone done this before? Any links to reviews?

We went to Party for the Senses last year and I hated not being able to sit or find a place to dump a plate. Is the brunch just marginal? Is it just three desserts? One bubbly of so-so quality? Do we get to sit????

We went to Sweet Sundays last year. It was really fun. There was a guest chef and he prepared three desserts for us to sample (apple crisp, home made smores -really home made, from scratch marshmellows, chocolate sauce and graham crackers- and chocolate lava cake) which were served with different sparkling wines. We had a great time despite rude table mates who wanted the best seats so badly that they tried to make Dh and I sit at separate places at the table. There was also a pretty decent breakfast buffet.

I went to one last year. I enjoyed it, but didn't think it was worth the extra cost, since it is so similar to the culinary demos that are included with park admission. You do get three desserts, and the brunch, which is good, but I won't be going to one again.

They serve Martini & Rossi Prosecco for you to drink with the brunch that you eat prior to the desserts. Sometimes they will refill the glasses while you are eating. Once they begin the dessert demos they will pour Asti Spumante for you to drink with the desserts. Again they may refill the glasses. The brunch normally has fruit, some bread items, two different egg dishes (along the lines of fritatas), Sausage & Bacon, fried potatoes, one or two other items that I can't recall right now. It is served Buffet style so you are free to go back for more. They have Juices, coffee & tea available also. Once everyone is settled in with the brunch they begin the demos of the desserts. There are three different ones demoed & served to you. I have gone the last two years and enjoyed the experience. Last year was better that the year before for me since I didn't care for the the deserts served at the previous years one that I attended. I just wish they would give us more of an idea what types of desserts to expect with each chef. If the price keeps going up we may stop attending this one but we to plan to attend again this year.

And the all important answer is yes you do get to sit down. At least last year they assigned you to a specific table so you didn't have to worry about your party being split up at different tables. And for the other poster we had some rude people at our table too that needed to have the perfect seats also, maybe it was the same bunch you had.
