Sweet Mother's Day Pixie Dust - Literally!!

We had dinner at LTT for Mother's Day this past Sunday and our very nice and chatty CM was talking to us about the yummy dessert she was getting ready to bring out and my son got all excited because he LOVES the dessert. She made a comment about how all the desserts at LTT are very popular and I said something about especially the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. So she said "Ah, so you've obviously had it then!" Well, I actually hadn't. I have just heard a lot about it from all of you here so I told her that I hadn't actually tried it but heard it was wonderful. She said it was one of the top 5 desserts in all of WDW. So my DH said on our upcoming trip we will have to come back to LTT for lunch so we can try it.

A few minutes later she comes out and puts the dessert my son was so looking forward to right in front of him and then puts a GIANT bowl of Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake with heaps of Vanilla ice cream in front of me and says "Happy Mother's Day!" I was so excited I almost started to cry. I always see and hear about all kinds of wonderful Pixie Dust moments but I've never had something like that happen to me. I mean, I'm a 42 year old mom - I don't feel all that special or deserving of Pixie Dust - I have fun just watching others receive it!!
