Sweet 16!

My daughter turns 16 next Friday- and her "dream" has been to have her party at Disney World. So next Thursday 9 of us are flying from Boston to Orlando to celebrate ! In the party are my mother, myself, daughter, my MIL, SIL, aunt, my BFF and her daughter, and my daughters friend. I told my daughter that we are staying at the Doubletree near DTD to save money- but we are really staying in a Treehouse Villa, thanks to my mothers DVC points! I decided to order her a cake to have in the room friday night after we get back from Illuminations, that was a HUGE ordeal. I just wanted a custom cake- my only instructions were " something Tinkerbell with attitude, and my budget is $100" - this was after declining the podium cake available at the restaurant for dinner SEVERAL times! Can't beleive I had to BEG them to take my money! I told my daughter about the cake to throw her off, as I also ordered the smaller Mickeys birthday surprise room decorating from Disney Floral ! We are planning to spend Friday at Epcot, dinner is at Tepan Edo - her choice! Saturday we are heading to the Magic Kingdom as she always wanted to eat at Tony's Town Square, then the "adults" are heading to the Polynesian for a Lapu Lapu late afternoon-from there it's around the monorail loop to stop at each lounge. Saturday night will be spent at Downtown Disney, and Sunday we will wrap up our trip at Hollywood Studios, with lunch at the Sci Fi. Here's to hoping this will make her Sweet 16!
