Sweet 16 with my godbaby!!

Ok, so it's a whole year away, but I just have to share my happy dance! My sweet goddaughter decided to forgo doing anything for her birthday this year so she could combine the budget mom and dad have for both birthdays so she could spend her sweet 16 in Disney World. So, she called me, Aunt E, to tell me of her grand plans and proceeded to, ask ME, her godmommy to go with her!! Mind you, she had be told she could take anyone, and MUSH, she chose me! I am so excited I can't see straight. Until today, I thought it would be she and I and her mom, but NO, just me and her. One of the things I loved most about the conversations was that, she told me she just didn't want to wait four years to go with me ( All the kids get a trip to where ever they want in the US when they graduate, wow being godmommy ain't cheap, but oh the treasures in the memory chest!!). LOL, I am already planning all the extra bits of pixie dust.
Counting down to next October!!!

That's so sweet you both will have so much fun

We celebrated DD's sweet 16 last year at Disney. We gave her a choice of a big party with her friends or Disney. She chose Disney and we had a blast

That is fantastic!!! Last year I took my cousin's daughter to Disneyland for her Sweet 16 present (Our birthdays are 1 day apart so it was a gift for me too!) and we had such a good time!

Have a great time planning with her...that was half the fun for me last year!
