Sweet 16 birthday ideas???

Good morning.

I need your help please.

My DD will be turning 16 in August and wants to do something awesome for her birthday but we can't come up with any great ideas.

We have considered a girls weekend to disney and she bring a friend or 2 but August is really, really hot so we are looking for other ideas to either travel to or do at home

What is some ideas you might ahve???

Our daughter will be 16 in July. We are planning on a huge bbq with friends and family. About 50 people or so. We will probably do a pig roast, rent a tent, etc. We haven't decided on any sort of a theme or what we are going to do as far as music goes. I told dh that since I wasn't able to have a sweet sixteen birthday, our dd was definitely going to have one. We could have rented a hall or something, but we really wanted it to be a relaxing, down to earth type party for her. She agrees. Good luck with your planning.

Have you ever seen that MTV show - My Super Sweet 16. Those folks always seem to have good ideas.

Take a girls weekend to New York City. Go to the spa and get massages, nails, hair, then go see a Broadway show.
