Swapping BRV for CCV...or wait for LL - Expiration, Fall Bookings

We just purchased our BRV last year (resale) despite the expiration. We just love the resort, and I really wanted an 11 month window at WL for the Christmas holidays. There were several reasons we went with BRV over CC - studio layout, a little off the beaten path from the crowds, holiday availability, and the point loads of the cabins. The expiration date was the only downside.

Sometimes, I do question if we did the right thing. But we will be in our 70's in 2042, and have direct points at VGF that we will pass to our kids. I think we got a great price on our resale contract (in the low $80's), so we saved about $50/pp over CC resales. For now, we are going to hold and enjoy our time there.

LSL will be a huge resort... Huge resorts tend to be easy to trade into...

CCV has serious problems...

Stick with what you've already got for another 15 years, then when it goes away see where you are and where DVC is... 2042 will dictate a lot of things...

I am curious your perspective, what are the CCV serious issues?
