Swapping at 7 months

We have 14 days reserved at SSR for August 9 - 23 but would like to swap at 7 months to 6 nights a VWL then 8 nights BCV. If I do each of these day by day, what does anyone think our chances are? Thanks for any help.

you shouldnt have any problem. i always go in the summer and have never had a problem getting in on the 7 month window, and i never called day by day.

I'd be careful with day by day, you don't want to hit a date in the middle where the room you want isn't available. I would call on the first day and ask what availability looks like for the entire stay and ask for advise on day by day. If there are dates already gone, you may want to wait until the last day and get on the waiting list for the entire time. That time of year you shouldn't have a problem, especially if free dining is available again, people may avoid points stays and do cash to get the free dining.
