What is swap mickey?

I believe it's the pal mickey swap. Similar to the stroller swap. I don't know exactly how it works. But one person arranges to meet someone else and hand over pal mickey and that person in turn gives it to someone else at the end of their trip.

He's an interactive doll that acts like a tour guide at WDW.
