We will be arriving by car mid-afternoon at the Swan. We have a 5:30 adr at California Grill and then plan to head over to MK for the rest of the evening.

What would be our best option for transportation? Should we drive? If so, where should we park for dinner? Will we need to move our car to go to MK?

If we take the bus, how easily will we be able to access the Contemporary if we get dropped off at MK? What about the monorail?

Timing is everything, I guess. Since it's our "opening night", the less stress, the better!:goodvibes

Take the MK bus from Swan and then grab the monorail to CR. You can walk from MK to CR very easily, but it won't save much if any time....

I'd drive over before your dinner reservation at the Contemporary and then walk or monorail to the MK. After the park - go back to the CR to pick up your car. You'll have to pay parking - but you said you wanted the easiest.

It's also not hard to take the bus to the MK and then take the monorail over to the CR.

I would check to see if there is a time limit on parking at the Contemporary. I think there may be a three hour limit, but I'm not sure that applies to you. If you do take the bus to MK, I think it would be quicker to walk than take the monorail.

If you drive, you'll need to park at the TTC and take the monorail to the contemporary.

I would just take the bus to MK and walk to the contemporary from there. It's an easy 10 minute walk.

If it were me, I would just take the bus to MK and then either monorail or walk over to the CR. Then, walk back to MK after dinner, and bus back to the S/D.
If you decide to drive yourself, you have a few options. You could park at the TTC, for free, and then take the monorail to the CR (takes about 20 mins on the monorail), then walk back to the MK (about 8 mins) after dinner, and then back to the TTC from MK when you're ready to leave.
Or...
Drive to the CR, pay to valet park there, eat dinner, walk over to MK, then return to the CR, get your car and head back to the S/D.
You can self-park at the CR while you're eating, but you are expected to move your car after you are done eating. That sort of defeats the purpose since you want to head to MK. You would have to eat, move your car to the TTC, then get to MK from there...monorail or ferry.

I would just take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and from there use the walkway to the Contemporary. Once your meal is finished you can then either walk back to the Magic Kingdom or use the Resort Monorail when getting there, then later on you can take the bus back to the Swan.
