we'll be staying at swan april 3-10th.

Should we bring a small fan? how is the a/c when no one is moving?

On our last trip in aug. we really didnt even notice it except for the few minutes you walk back into the room from the park, but this was aug. My ds has asthma and would have been miserable but he was fine. See you there in april too.

The A/C is great when no one is moving. Yet, the situation (IMHO) depends upon whether you have a balcony room or not. If not, a FAN is a great idea to provide improved airflow. Without a balcony, the room may get (or seem) stuffy. Also, the FAN provides a nice source of "white noise" (which I LOVE). I always use a fan while traveling. It blocks the sound of the mousekeepers in the early AM (when I am still in need of REST!). :teeth:

Bring the fan!! We stayed at the Dolphin in Feb. and it always seemed hot. We never really got it to a temperature we liked

I say if you have the space to pack the fan.....then bring one.
I stayed at The Swan in December. One morning I woke up with drenching hot sweats. My A/C had turned off, and the room was hot and stuffy. I also woke up with a slight headache, possibly from dehydration from sweating so much.

Have they changed the air conditioning system at the Dolphin in the last year?
