Swan questions (can't wade through 144 pages!)

I have a couple of quick Swan questions in case we book for December w/ the teacher rate--I looked at the FAQ but it's up to 144 pages and I don't have that kind of time, it's almost time to bathe the kids!
1) will we be horribly cramped with 5 people in a room w/ 2 queens and a rollaway?
2) what kind of view or location should we request--close to pool, or an Epcot view, or what? Any recommendations? What about which floor to be on?
3) is the grotto pool heated for December? Last year when we went it was 83 every day, but who knows this year.

Hi Robin!

I just returned from the Swan with the nurse rate. The rooms are nice sized and yes you may be cramped, but not horribly. And how much time do you really spend in the room anyway?

I had the view of the Dolphin (resort view), it was gorgeous, particularly at night. I would request a higher floor for a better view.

Can't answer about the pool, it was in the 90's when I was there.

I'm curious... I had been told by a Swan "reservationist" that a standard room could not have a roll away in it. Did I get wrong info.? There will be 5 of us and I'd love to save a little $$$ by squeezing the 5 of us into one room.

if you want to squeeze in a 5th person, you're better off at the Dolphin. The rooms are slightly larger and the beds are slightly smalller giving you more floor space for the rollaway.
