What kind of resorts are these, Value, moderate, deluxe? Seems like they are not mentioned at all regarding discounts and stuff. any help would be appreciated.

These are deluxe properties. There are discounts available like AAA, etc. I'd go to the resort's thread and check it out. They are not owned by Disney, but offer some Disney perks like EMH.

Swan/Dolphin are owned by Starwood

They are both very close to EPCOT/Studio's/Boardwalk activities

Dolphin great for kids - closer to pool, refillable mugs, and game room

Swan great for adults- less kids

Check out rates - ask for discounts available - AAA, AP, nurse, teacher, military, what ever you may qualify for.

Rate will be more than a WDW moderate - but normally less than a WDW deluxe.

They do not have Mickey soaps - but wonderful oatmeal soap bars - great for sun burns.
