Anyone stayed in the Swan/Dolphin resort before ?
I know it is not a Disney hotel ,but it is beside the boardwalk
and a lot cheaper then staying at the beach club or the boardwalk resort

Have changed from a package holiday at port Orleans to flight only
so to planning
DH loves Port Orleans but I like to try something different and at the moment there is not that much difference in price
Once we get to DWD we do not want to change resorts as we have a few stops along the way

Thanks for any info

Gosh - we walked through the Swan and Dolphin when we were enjoying a boardwalk walk. Looks ever so posh and expensive. Waterfalls on top of roofs! In a great location.

Sue is staying here in October, I will point her in this direction for you :)

It will be my first time staying here in October and I cant wait, I am staying in the Dolphin, it looks fabulous. Right by the Boardwalk and you can walk to Epcot and MGM studios if you desire. You can still use the Disney transport, use EMH and they have a 24 hour cafe. Have a look at the link below:

Sue,

Make sure you have breakfast at Fresh - we ate there when at BCV last year. It was great and they only charged us a meagre amount - quite wrong I'm sure but hey! :teeth:

Thanks for the tip Gill :thumbsup2

Hi we stayed at the Dolphin last October. We loved it, I would recommend buying a souvenir mug for your drinks and pick up a complimentary UK newspaper from the Virgin desk each morning. It really is a very special hotel and only about 15-20mins stroll to Epcot.

We stayed in the Dolphin in December :)

It's a great hotel with very comfortable beds. It's location is fantastic, close to the Boardwalk and the other Epcot resort hotels and an easy walk to Epcot International Gateway :)

Is this the same as the refillable mugs at the Disney resort
if so where do you refill them from

You buy the mugs at what was called Tubbies (now called Picabu!). They work the same as the refillable mugs at Disney Resorts.
There is a soda machine at the end of the buffeteria counter (serves Coke, Sprite, Orange etc.). You can also get tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
