Swan/Dolphin Reservation Unlinked and Messed Up My Genie+ Lightning Lane Selection

In a nutshell - Dolphin resort reservation was booked and Linked in MDE for 6 guests. When I logged onto MDE to book Individual Lightning Lane at 7AM, (with a nice 11AM ride window for ROTR) I got "Not eligible - this guest has no resort reservation". HUH? Went back to My Plans, sure enough, resort reservation is not there. I go find the resort confirmation number in my email (2 rooms, so 2 different numbers to type in)... re-link the Dolphin reservation in MDE, and then go back to book ILL for ROTR. Window now 6-7pm, which is not optimal. I'd planned to hop to another park well before then. SO - note to self: if you have a Swan/Dolphin resort reservation, check to make sure that it hasn't magically "unlinked itself" from MDE before you attempt booking your Individual Lightning Lane at 7AM. Annoying.

Also, regarding Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane booking. This was my first try at using the new system, and it wasn't that bad. Genie+ seemed SUPER complicated when I read about it and I had been dreading using it. In actual fact, it really wasn't all that complicated or difficult.

Thanks for your sympathy! I appreciate it. Honestly, it's not that big of a deal. I've learned to "roll with it" and have fun no matter what.

Agree. I mostly roll with it as well, but also stay at the Swan & Dolphin quite a bit. Just another thing to have to remember.

Will do. But full disclosure, the majority of my group go a lot, 2 are CM's. We have a couple of "visitors" including an 80 year old grandpa. We're really not park commandos in terms of rides and have zero need to rely on Genie's suggestions. I'd really just wanted to book ROTR and a couple other Lightning Lanes. Currently day goes as follows, beginning at 11AM: ToT LL, Brown Derby lunch, MMRR ILL, Ogas. I'll prob book another LL whenever I'm able. Then we'll probably break in the afternoon and go back for ROTR from 6-7 then skyline over to Epcot for Harmonious.

Update - able to book another Lightning Lane selection at 11am. Planning to hop from DHS to Epcot. Got a Test Track Lightning Lane for 2:55. That works. Will have to hop back to DHS for my ROTR at 6:00, (thanks to the snafu caused by the Dolphin reservation unlinking itself from MDE) but that's life.
