Swan/Dolphin My Disney Experience

I have res. at dolphin in aug. I can link my tickets but not hotel. I called number and they told me to call Costco. (Who I booked through) Costco said call hotel. Hotel said call WDW travel. WDW travel said Swan Dolphin can't link. I'm so confused because when I try to sign in it gives an option for Swan/Dolphin and I've read posts where people were able too can anyone help? Thanks

I would simply call Costco and ask them for the SD's reservation number (not Costco's reservation number). They should be able to get that for you. Once you have that number, insert it and try to see if it can link. Don't call and bring up disney ME, linking to Disney or anything like that (it adds layers of confusion for them). Just ask for the number for your records.

I finally found someone knowledgable and they told me that my reservation on the disney or s/d database doesn't exist yet because companies like Costco or Expedia etc... Waits until about a week before trip to send in reservations. They do it in bulk? Soo if I was persistent I could probably try hard and maybe get info from Costco. But I am 30 days out and can start making fast pass reservations now so I won't bother. But for those 60 days out they may want to keep this in mind if they don't want to wait.

I booked directly through the Dolphin, so I had no problem linking or making my FP+ at 60 days, but that is interesting about Expedia and Costco. Good to know, Thanks for the information.

I am having problems linking my Swan reservation, which I made online directly on the SPG website, almost one week ago. I called Disney's internet support 2x, without any resolution. They keep telling me I need to wait 72 hours, but it is well more than that. I spoke with SPG reservations, which sent a message to Swan/Dolphin in-house reservations, and I am waiting for their reply. My arrival date is only weeks away.

Is the Swan's (SPG's) confirmation number different than what MDE recognizes?

I booked a room last fall but using orbitz. After they provided me all the reservation numbers for air, hotel etc. I email them asking for the Disney conformation number and they provided it to me within 24 hours.
Mine was a length of 10 with a letter on front. Had no issue adding it/ hotel res to my Disney experience.

Maybe planning and doing a reservation is better to do earlier.
We live to plan a year in advance - 1/2 the fun is planning our WDW vacation.

The confirmation number from Swan/Dolphin through SPG should go right in. And just a reminder that you can make FP 60 days out with a Swan/Dolphin reservation.

I spoke directly to Swan reservations today, and they don't know why I could not link to MDE. They are resending info to Disney, and I am to try again tomorrow.

I never have a problem linking Orbitz reservations, which I can do almost immediately following booking.

Update: Apparently, all it took was for the Swan to resend reservation data to Disney, as it is now linked to MDE.
