Swan/Dolphin: Is this a good deal??

Hello, I need some major help! I received a quote for seven nights at either the Swan or the Dolphin for two adults for 3200 (air, car, taxes, hotel and four day park tickets) is this a good deal? Please let me know.

What time of year are you going?
Pretty much need to know this-once you have a idea as to what airfare would cost you if you purchased seperate then you can figure out what the break down is on everything else.
The swan is gorgous-we got married there last year!

I'm leaving on August 7 for seven nights, nomal seats on the plane. No dining has been added to our package and only four park days are included (no hopper and with an expiration date).

I was just on this website..you can get club level for 235.00 a night

Not sure what airline you are flying but you could check and see what your flights would cost if you were paying for them.
A four day base ticket is 197.03 usd per person.
Do you now what company they are giving you for a car rental? You can check on the website to see what it would cost to rent.
In my experience most times it is less expensive to book things yourself and seperately-not in a package. But then again packages can be so much easier!
Do you have plans for the other 3 days you are going to be there?

Thanks so much for your help, I am deffiently going to keep looking. I would like to book by next week. I am not too sure what we'll be doing the other days, any suggestions? Also, any idea of a good buffet to go to while we're there? My husband is dying to try one.

This will be our first time at Disney with a car rental. Last time we went to Disney (in October) we were on our honeymoon so we opted for no car. It should be exciting.

We stayed in Port Orleans French Quarter, it is really really nice.

Glad to hear you like POFQ-I can't wait to stay there!
Will you have the waterparks on your passes?? Other stuff you could do is mini golf, golf, downtown disney,disney quest,cirque,check out one of the spa's, kennedy space centre,IOA/US, SHOPPING (lol-my fav!),you could go to one of the beaches..lots of off day stuff to do-especially since you have a car.
We like the buffet at the Crystal Palace. We also stayed at AKL and the buffet at Boma looked great-we did the culinary tour there but never got around to having the meal!
As for airfare--I think someone just posted a major sale on airtran from toronto..so if you thinking of booking things yourself you would get a good deal!

Thanks for the advice, I wrote down the restaurant suggestions you had. By the way I read that you were married last year (from you dates) well it seems like we were married in the same month, not too far apart either (October 2 for us and we were in disney on October 4). Small world! LOL, do you happen to know if the ride small world is back up? It was closed when we where there for some fix ups

Yes we were in Disney from Oct 8-21 last year--our wedding was on Oct 10th at the Swan Had a fabulous time!

I'm just writing to wish you good luck in planning your trip and to add my support for trying Boma as your buffet meal. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is beautiful (you can walk out and see all kinds of animals before and after your meal), and the food is fantastic. We tried it for the first time in March and can't wait to go back!!
