swan/dolphin gov't discount

I was wondering if anyone has a clue as to whether RETIRED government employees can receive the discount that the swan and dolphin are offering on the wdwinfo homepage? Any comments are appreciated!

I don't think so. I had to show proof of my government job when we used the discount a while back.

I think they wanted to see my travel orders, but I was able to give them my ID card and government credit card as proof. I didn't use the government credit card, though, to pay for the room. I used my private card.

Likewise, we were required to show a gov't ID or recent pay stub at check-in to confirm the discount.....
