I see there are some decent codes out for rooms at S/D through Dec. I am wondering if anyone has stayed at S/D in late Feb and did you have a special price then? Looks like rack rates are running around $300 and up (taxes and resort fee included). Is there a place to look for historical info for this resort?

Thanks so much. :flower3:

DH and I stayed at the Dolphin the last weekend in Feb for "ESPN the Weekend". We got the teacher discount... I think it was about $200 a night.
Can't remember if that included taxes. We booked in the Fall for that visit.

Unfortunately I'm not a teacher or military so I wouldn't qualify for any of those.

S/D usually offers 50% off the rack rate for AAA/CAA members.

AAA membership is cheap.

I have used it in March the last few years and it usually runs around 215.00/night.

That would be great and I am already a AAA member! Did you book online or call to use that discount?

Also did you stay at Swan or Dolphin, appreciate any suggestions.

:)

You can call or book online. I usually book online.

We have stayed at the Dolphin 3 times.

Comments:

Dolphin is bigger (busier) but closer to the (5) pools.

Dolphin has more restaurant options (including Pikabo the 24 hour cafeteria).

Dolphin has a spa, Swan doesn't.

Dolphin has a full gym. Swan has a limited fitness center.

Dolphin has a day care/child care center.

BTW AAA members get a discount (think it's 20%) in most of the 15 restaurants in S/D. Makes up for not being able to participate in DDP.

Cheers.
