Swan/Dolphin ADRs?

If we want to dine at Shula's or Blue Zoo (in the Dolphin), do we try to make an ADR at the 180-day window just like the Disney-run restaurants? Or does it work differently since they are not run by Disney? Are the ADRs made online just like the Disney restaurants? What about DTD restaurants that are independently operated? Thanks!

If you're making your plans 180 days out, I would recommend making your ADR's at Blue Zoo & Shula's.

But since these places are not part of Disney Dining Plan, you'll find it much easier to make a reservation much closer to your arrival date than a typical Disney restaurant.

I'd still make the reservation as early as possible. You can always cancel.

You can make them online, the same as WDW restaurants at 180 days but we usually make ours the day of, lol. We also like going over to the lounge before dinner, bluezoo has an especially nice bar.

Thank you for the info! I forgot that it should be much easier to make an ADR at these places because they don't take the dining plan! Something also to keep in mind if we go to one of the DTD restaurants that doesn't accept the dining plan. Thanks!
