Swan and Dolphin ??'s

I know they are 'onsite,' but not owned by Disney, so if you stay there, are you allowed to participate in EE?

Also, do they charge for parking at the parks if you stay at the Swan or Dolphin?

Yes! You can go to EE mornings and purchase Enight tickets just like a regular Disney resort. Since you are onsite, you have free parking at all the Disney parks. Transportation is great, if you don't want to drive.

The only difference between staying at Swan/Dolphin and other Disney resorts is you can't charge to your rooms in the park. You have all the other benefits of a Disney resort. The Disney transportation is wonderful. The only reason I would drive is if I had an early PS in AK or MK. The busses actually start running 1 hour before the parks open.

Oh yea, you also pay a lot less for a deluxe hotel room at S/D, and the staff is wonderful!!

Can you send packages back to your room at the Swan and Dolphin? My DH and I are doing the FTP at the Contempo, but the rates at these other two..we might add an extra couple of days and stay there.

Yes, you can ship your packages back to the hotel. You pick them up in the giftshop - Daisy's Garden.

Anyone know if they have started renovating the Dolphin yet? I saw they were going to when they finished with the Swan. Will this be the same heavenly beds and decor from the Swan? Thanks for any help. We are seriously thinking about staying here for our December trip now and getting the great rate!!

I haven't seen this mentioned but do they have refillable mugs? one other ? is that when they refurbish the Dolphin will they change the comforters too? I love the ones at the Swan. I am always weiry of the patterned ones

The Dolphin has the refillable mugs at Tubbis buffeteria.

They have already started the Dolphin renovations. I am not sure what the new bedspreads look like.
