We decided to come 1 day earlier than our DVC stay. We arrive at 8 pm. Currently, we are reserved at the rack rate since discounts for February are not yet available. I have Pop booked for 283 (hoping it's less than that when discounts come out), but in looking at Swan and Dolphin, it's only 33.00 more to stay there. I have not been to either, and we plan to hit a park early in the morning. I chose Pop because of the Skyliner. Would you just keep the Pop reservation since we arrive so late and are not taking advantage of the hotel stay or make the switch? Just looking for advice. Thanks!

When you look at the Swan/Dolphin be sure to include the daily resort fee.

The Swan & Dolphin are walking distance to both Epcot and DHS, with the option of taking the boat if you don’t want to walk. The boat is direct to either park, no transfers (although 2 stops before you get to Epcot), whereas the Skyliner from Pop requires you to transfer at CBR to get to either park. Swan & Dolphin also have more breakfast options (QS and TS) while Pop has food court only.

The Swan has Queen beds or King beds, the Dolphin has Double beds or King beds. They are right between the BW and the Y/C. What Park are you planning for your early morning start?

Will you have a car? I’m not familiar enough if Swan & Dolphin will move your luggage for you. Also with any of your choices of resort I hope you are referring to either HS or Epcot so you could walk/boat/skyliner. If it is MK S & D does not bus directly there but POP would.

Swolphin. More likely to get a good night’s sleep. Pop walls are thin, you hear every toilet flush around you and if you aren’t ground floor you hear every person walking outside. I like a night or two at Pop to save money but for $33 more I’d be at any Swolphin property in a heartbeat. Interior hallways make it quieter and the soundproofing I actually find better than Disney Deluxe rooms. A noise machine/app can fix some of the Pop sound issues but also in swolphin’s favor are nicer beds. Pops beds aren’t bad, they’re ok sure- but Swolphin’s are better.

How late are you arriving? Swolphin restaurants and lounges generally run through 11pm so good for a late night bite/drink.
