Swan and Dolphin Help please!!

Ok, we have decided to take our little daughter with us to Disneyworld in Aug. I need to start making the reservations for the room.

Do I want the Swan or the Dolphin? BTW, Id like to be near that cool kids beach.

Do I need an annual pass or just my Disney Club membership to get the 50%?

Can I use a code on top of all this to get another discount?

I do not want any of those services that they charge for like the paper and such, so how can I cancel those and not be charged?

The Swan is a smaller hotel than the Dolphin, and I know how little legs get tired....
The pool area is closer to the Dolphin, but it's a bigger hotel.

I believe the Entertainment logo on the back of your DC card will get you 50% off the rack rate of a room.
I believe that Swan and Dolphin work like most other hotels... only one discount per reservation. So you'd need to figure out which one is the best for you and go for it.
You might want to join the Starwood Preferred Guest program- it gets you points for each stay and also records room preferences for future stays.
The resort fee ($8.00 per day) is easily declined at check in. We've never had a problem getting the staff to remove it. Valet parking is $6.00 a day (but you can save on this too by parking yourself if you drive down or rent a car.) We usually do a drop off the luggage and one of us at the entrance to the hotel and the other one parks the car.

The kids sprinkler seal and playground are by the Swan, but the pool is closer to the Dolphin. You can cancel the resort fee.
