Swan and Dolphin - Guard Booth?

Hi.

If I wanted to be dropped off at the Swan or Dolphin with Mears and I dont have a hotel or food ressie, is there a guard booth that will stop me from entering?

If I remember correctly, only the parking lot was gated. There was open access to drop off.
