Swagbucks

I'm not sure that I am understanding the whole Swagbucks thing. You just search anything on there and when you are logged in you get points? How many searchs do you have to do to get some money? Anyone have an understanding of how this site works?

I do it and it works fine. You get "bucks" randomly as you do normal searches on the internet. I am up to 107 bucks and havent been doing it very long.

I started a month or so ago and I have 73 swagbucks. It's kind of fun to win something every once in a while when I search. I haven't cashed any in yet, but I think it costs 45 swagbucks for a $5 Amazon card.

What they said. You search and randomly earn bucks. You can also earn bucks for shopping online at certain stores if you click through to the store from SB's website. I bought our airfare on Hotwire for this reason. You get 1 SB for every $5 spent.

I do Swagbucks and I just earned $30 in giftcards to Amazon.com in 2.5 months. (I talk about it on my blog). It's really easy to use. I win anywhere from 2 to 5 Swagbucks a day. Just type random things into their search engine. You can make a game of it or you can use it for your regular search engine. It's really fun.

I use swagbucks as my search engine all the time. I try to make sure I do at least 4-5 searches a day. You can do as many. or as little as you wish.

The SB add up pretty quickly too. I've been saving mine from the beginning of the year & now have 1860. I figured that we need a new TV for our BR (our old one is acting pretty funky), so I told DH that I would earn one through SB. I now need 1340 more SB to get the TV, but as long as it is not costing me anything out of pocket, I'm good.

They also have a $10 visa card for about 135 (IIRC) SB's.

There're a lot of prizes to choose from, and doing the searches is no problem, as long as you had to use a search engine anyway. They have a good one too - it is powered by Google & Ask.com - so you usually get good results on your searches.

I just joined this. So far i ahve 4 swab dollars but does anyone have the swag widget? not sure it's worth it but it may be to get me some more swag dollars. I am concerned about it being on my computer.

I am also going to follow them on twitter. wish i could get some credit for following them on twitter!

I use swagbucks as a search engine, but I didn't download the widget. I don't think it increases your swagbucks by much if at all and I'm always leary of downloading something on to my computer.

As others have posted they have a lot of items to choose from including Disney and SW giftcards. You also can get cash sent to your PayPal account.

You can just search normally and randomly 'win' swagbucks. You can also install their toolbar and pick up a few extra bucks by keeping an eye on it. Sometimes there will be codes on twitter, and probably facebook sometimes too but I don't FB.

right now the tool bar has one code every day in september. I joined swagbucks in june and I already have $55 in amazon GC's and I'm 12 away from another one. It's not hard, and I find it easier than mypoints, since I usually search a lot anyway.
