I am wondering if anyone has booked the internet special online ? Can you book fht internet one way for both ways ??What if the price changes what do they do change it? Do they put the difference back on your visa??

To answer whether you can book the internet special one-way both directions, Yes.

Once you have booked, that is the price you have paid, no difference is refunded.

My wife flew on them Buffalo-Raleigh in January.

A word of caution though, if you see a good rate with SW book it, as I have seen huge swings in a matter of days...

What happens if you find it at a lower rate can you cancel the internet one way and then rebook? Are you penalized ? What is their cancellation policy?

They will give you a future travel credit for the difference in the new fare and the one you paid. However, you need to call right away as soon as a sale is put on and they have to be able to rebook you on the sale price.
They are very easy to deal with from my experience.

If you have to cancel they will give you the amount as credit with 1 year to use it.

I have read that if you find a lower price on your flight that SW will credit your cc.
Has this ever happened to anyone?
Why would they give some people a flight credit for future use and others $ back on their credit card?????

Also, if another flight gets cheaper on the same day that you have yours booked, can you change to the lower priced flight without having to pay a change fee???
