We may be looking to switch our November trip to an October one. SW has their flights up for then and they're quite high. Is it normally expensive to fly in late October. Do you think these prices will come down or will they only go up from here. I was even looking at July flights and they were cheaper than that :confused3 I'd appreciate anyone's take on this.

Thanks, Pam

All airline tickets seem higher this year. Also SW raised their rates $10 across the board. I'm looking for Oct flights also but with the way oil prices are going my fear is the rates will go higher. It's a gamble.

We are going in October and I bought SWA tickets the day they came out and they have already gone up about $20 each way. I don't expect prices to come down much due to oil prices.

SWA has been really high from Philly lately. For our Oct 2 return, we opted to go with USAirways which has several non-stops for just $116, while SWA was $160-200. Even with baggage fees, it's worth it & I don't have to worry about checking in online or paying even more for EBCI. I almost booked AT at just $105 but they only have 1 afternoon nonstop & it's at 4pm. That's a lot of time to kill after a cruise.

my sWA flights from Boston rt were $92 each way before taxes and are still available for that price end of sept til the 4th of Oct

thanks for the responses. and sue thank you, i don't live too far from boston so i'll have to keep an eye on flights there too.
