SWA help/advice needed

WOW, I messed up big time. Just realized that the SWA flights I booked 9 days ago for September are for the wrong dates - a whole week too early!! We've never flown SWA before, and this was a Ding fare. Is there any chance they'd let me change the dates? What can I do at this point? Please help, I'm panicking!

Simply cancel them and you'll get a credit good for up to a year. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait for another DING or internet fare and re-book. (Maybe you could call SWA and admit your error, beg them to have mercy on you, and nicely ask if there's any way they could keep the same fare and switch you to the correct dates.)

Thanks for the advice, and a major crisis was averted.
I called SWA, and the nice lady told me I "might want to check online" instead of her doing it for me, because there was an internet special for the original Ding fare I paid. So, I just changed it online, no problem, no additional $.
I feel like such an IDIOT - I'm usually so well organized!
