2A 2C heading to MCO late September.
Flight to MCO is the first flight of the day. I'm not too concerned about 1A1C x 2 getting seats together, so I didn't opt for EBCI.
Return flight is last of day. First leg operated by AirTran, second by SWA. When I went to purchase EBCI for this leg, system showed EBCI wasn't available for flights not operated by SWA.
How do I position myself to get best chance of 1A1C x 2 on return? Does AirTran do family boarding? Can we do online check-in 24 hours in advance even with AirTran doing part of the return?
