** would also like to mention we are flying mid week leaving on a Tue. *** Flying mid week is cheaper than weekends.

On the right side of the SW page, click on "Change Flight". Enter your confirmation number, and then you will search and rebook the same flight (or you can change the flight if you want to) at the new, lower cost, and when you are done you will end up with a credit on your confirmation number.

I just typed in the confirmation number my name and it brought up everyone listed on the confirmation.
SO I only had to make one alteration and it changed everyone on the confirmation

Yes, it changed everyone at the same time.

Yay! A $60 credit isn't much, but it's better than nothing.

If you booked on southwest you can get a refund even on non refundable tixs. I did it. All it means is that you wont get the money back on your credit card but what you will get is a credit toward a future flight.

I doubled checked our flight out of Chicago, mid June and on a Friday, so not the best bet at lower prices, which they weren't. They did go down previously though so I guess I will be happy with that and keep checking anyway "just in case".

The flight we got for free going down (from the SW Visa promotion) dropped $20. Of course, the return flights haven't budged.
