SWA Change Dates/Policy question

I am in such an undecided position and need help

What is their policy regarding changing dates to a Wanna Get Away Fare? Will I be charged a fee? It says it is reusable, but is there any kind of change fare fee?

Out situation:
We were planning on going March 6-March 13 (SAT-SAT) from Pittsburgh, well SWA released rates up to March 12th. It would figure.

Anyway, the best rate I could get on March 6 was $124 at a 7 Am direct flight, a little early but we could make it work.

Then I looked at Sun March 7 and the rate is $84 at a 9 am flight non stop (wanna get away), much better.

We are ok changing our vacation to Sun-Sun (7th-14th), but I am not sure what kind of rates will come out for Sat 13th or Sun 14th and if I decide to change back to Sat-Sat b/c it ends up being no difference, is there a charge?

Southwest does not charge any fees to change dates, times or even just to rebook because the price dropped. Because the new flight is lower, you would actually get a credit (in the form of Ticketless Travel Funds) for the difference. You can then use this credit downards your return flight. If you find that you want to switch back when the rest of the rates are released, there is still no change fee. The only issue you may have is that the original flights may not be available for the same price in which case you'll have to pay the increased price when you make the change.

To make the date change, just go under Travel Tools and then Change Air Reservation.

It is super easy, and you will retain the same confirmation number.

Great, thanks for the information. I just booked our To airfare. Got to wait until October to book the rest of the trip.
