SWA - can we switch airports?

Here's one for ya:

We are booked to fly out of KC. If we wanted to fly out of St. Louis instead, can we switch? Would there be a penalty?

When you get a ding rate for already booked flight, do you only get credits if it matches the flight time already scheduled?

With Southwest, pretty much anytime you cancel a flight, you get a credit for what you paid. You can then use that credit to buy tickets out of another airport. If the new tickets are cheaper than the old, you won't be able to get the credit returned to you - you have to spend it at Southwest.

If you cancel tickets and buy new tickets at a lower price on the exact same flights, you can usually get the credit returned to you - but you have to call and ask.
