Swa Booking Window

I just checked SWA website and they are now booking through jan 19th. My flights are very high but I may book to assure a seat. Barb

I just took a look at the fares although we are travelling in February but I didn't see any promotional fares listed. Does SW usually put out the promotional fares at the same time as the schedule or do they wait?

I'd like to know that also.

I was under the impression that the dates get released on Thursday afternoons and that the promo fares come out on Tues, Wed and Thurs. So will the promo fares come out today or do we wait until Tuesday?

Since I am looking to travel during Christmas, will there even be any promo fares? I know it is a peak time for travel.

Does anyone have any past experience with SWA in this regard?

They will most probably be published, if they have any, next Tuesday. Sign up for their email updates.

The ones listed this past Tuesday are only good for travel booked up until Dec. 13th and end at midnight tonight.

SWA does not usually jack the fares up for holidays, they put out special fares for a block of dates.

Most of this info is on their website.

I don't understand something about the promotional fare. It is available for our flight on Friday 12/12 but all the flights are unavailable for our Tuesday 12/16 return. Why is this? They can't already be sold out. We are flying out of Manchester, NH.

Anyone know why this is??? How about you Gail????

Should I hold out for the Tuesday specials???

I'm so confused.

What that means is that the last flight day for this promotion was Dec.13th. They just extended the schedule today.

I'm so excited I can't contain myself. Just booked SW Manchester to MCO - Non Stop down and back 12/12 - 12/16, for the times I wanted for $190 RT.

Now I'll just keep an eye on any specials that come out and rebook if it's a much better price.

AirFare, Hotel, Passes - Just need a good rental car code and I'm all set.

God, I love the Internet!!!!!!!!!

Steve, don't feel bad about the promotional rate because I'm baffled as badly as you are. I just checked my rates for 12/18-12/23 and the promotional fare is only available for my return flight!

Kinda strange cause that's only 2 days before xmas. I don't know whether to wait or not.

Keep checking. I had the same thing happen but when I checked again 1/2 hour later the promotion fare was posted for both ways.

Thanks for the heads up Steve. I'll keep checking tonight and see if it changes. I cannot buy anything until my DH gives the go ahead and he's not home yet! Also just found out part of the highway he takes home is shut down due to an accident so I may be waiting awhile.

I applied my prebooked 12/12 trip down and got RT from bradley nonstop for 146.00 pp!

We can get round trip for 5 BWI to MCO $717.50!!! That is 143.50 per person. Thats not bad...I'm doing the happy dance!!
