SW Voucher Help

Anyone ever have any luck getting Southwest to extend their voucher past its' expiration date? I have one expiring 10/25 and I'm booking for 12/9 and hoping not to lose the credit. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated, thanks!

You might ask this on the Transportation board. But I think that if you pay a fee they will extend it for about 6 months. I want to say that I paid about $25 for this a few years ago. Just call them and ask and tell them when you want to use it. It is Southwest, they are very nice and very helpful.

Earlier this year this happened to me. I was thrilled when Southwest only charged $50 to extend the voucher after the expiration date. It was paid when I made the reservation and like you I was traveling about a month and a half past the date. I called and they walked me through the process.
